Bio
Javier Roque has been with Wright & Dalbin Architects since 1994. He has provided CADD Management and Construction Administration services for numerous projects including San Elizario Independent School District, Ysleta Independent School District and for El Paso Independent School District. Some of the school projects that Mr. Roque has worked on include a new high school, two new elementary schools, an alternative school, and sports facilities including field houses, gymnasiums, playgrounds and other similar projects. Mr. Roque has also worked on commercial, residential and industrial projects. Some of these projects include the Eastloop Shopping Center, Casa Bienvivir Elderly Housing, Bienvivir Senior Health Services Center, HACEP East Maintenance & Distribution Center, Williams Communications Point of Presence Building and the Coupon Processing Center. He also has extensive experience working with Corps of Engineers projects that include the White Sands Missile Range Professional Development Center, Pace Hall and Barracks Restorations and Additions located at Fort Bliss, Texas. Mr. Roque was the CADD and Construction Administration Manager for all the above projects except for the Pace Hall and Barracks Restorations and Additions handled by the Corps of Engineers at Fort Bliss.
From 1989 - 1992 Mr. Roque was employed as an HVAC and plumbing systems designer with Southwest Engineering. Significant projects included the enlargement of the Fort Bliss National Cemetery, the new Bienvivir Senior Health Services Center and the new Montwood High School for Socorro Independent School District, and District Wide HVAC Improvements for the Ysleta Independent School District.
Mr. Roque has also worked with various owners and contractors on private residences in and around the El Paso area.

Despite the lack of a formal architectural education, Mr. Roque successfully pursued his architectural license through continuing education, self-study, hard work and a willingness to learn from new experiences.
