El Paso County Water Improvement District 1 El Paso, Texas

The New Administration Center for the El Paso County Water Improvement District No. 1 is comprised of a 11,000 square-foot office building and a 11,000 square-foot maintenance and warehouse facility. The complex is developed on a 4.2-acre site located at Alameda and San Elizario Road in Clint, Texas. The total cost of the project is $3.1M.

The administration building includes executive offices, conference rooms, general office work areas, a public board room to seat 50 people, operations and maintenance, engineering and dispatch office to the overall operation of the District. The building is built out of pre-engineered metal frames, with an Exterior Insulation and Finish System and standing seam metal roof. The warehouse building is a pre-engineered metal building.

Daylight strategies such as light shelves, tubular light chases and translucent skylights are used in both buildings for daylight strategy to lower energy costs and improve user comfort.
